Lila settled in Los Angeles after bouncing around to Paris, Chicago, Portland, OR, and her sister-in-law's backhouse in Bermuda Dunes, CA. The mountains, ocean and an abundance of Thai food keep her content to call Southern California home.                                                                                                                                                                                     

Lila graduated from Columbia College Chicago where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in Film and Art+Design as well as a minor in Cultural Studies. After working in Arts Education for a number of years, she returned to freelancing in the film industry and travels between New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles to do so. Coming from a long line of union teachers and engineers, she's a proud member of IATSE Local 44 as a Set Decorator.

A product of the San Francisco Bay Area, Lila has had an appreciation for the arts, travel, and nature since a young age. She also has a love for languages, soviet history, Jacques Tati, and the future.
